Managed Services

What are managed services?
Managed services are tasks and processes a third-party organization fulfills that are designed to handle your daily IT operations. Managed service providers may categorize their services in a few different ways, most commonly sorting them by the task they perform or by the hardware or system involved.
For example, if a provider sorts their services by task, they may list remote backup and recovery or remote IT support, while a provider sorting by hardware or system may list managed cloud infrastructure or managed servers. You may also see providers who mix these different methods, so when choosing a managed service type, it's important to read the details carefully and understand exactly what services they include.
